Fortunately, I have never been "cool" and "popular" enough to buy and/or wear Abercrombie & Fitch clothing; however, if I ever come across any I am soooooo doing this and I hope you will too!
BTW, Greg Karber, you freakin rock!!!!
Hey you guuuyyyysss ...
I mean ladies.
If you are a mom and you are my friend you are awesome! Therefore, I hope your Mother's Day was awesome too!
If you are a lady and you are not a mom, but you are my friend, well, you are awesome too, but I can't wish you an awesome Mother's Day because you are not a mom. So Happy "It's awesome to be awesome everyday" Day to you.
If you are a lady, but you are not my friend, you are undoubtedly still awesome, but you are seriously missing out! Like being the only one at a birthday party who doesn't get ice cream and cake type of missing out. Happy "Awesomely Oblivious" Day.
If you are a guy, you are not a lady or a mom, but since you are my friend and I'm awesome, you are really blessed! Happy "I am friend's with Alisha" Day!
(There are no guys who aren't my friend. Um, hello, they're guys!) O_o
Lol! JK JK

Kiss these TuLips
Today: Worked from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Harvested tulips and blossoms from what I believe to be a crabapple tree in my yard to make a bouquet for my landlord's wife. Deadheaded and transplanted tulips. Walked dogs at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter. Raked winter debri from garden beds and cut down LOTS of overgrowth. Uprooted weeds. Hauled two giant trash cans full of debri to yard waste dumpsite. Done with a long day at 9 p.m. Ate awesome cheeseburgers (homemade). Commence blogging.
Tomorrow: Pretty much the exact same thing.
I'm pretty sure I'm not getting a mother's day this year! Lol!
Good thing all the flowers in my yard make my house smell like Heaven. Sooo worth a 12 hour workday! Hee! If I keep it up, it won't be long before I'll have the prettiest (and best smelling) yard in town! Yay! <3
Since I have to work tomorrow, my son cleaned the house and helped me garden. We kinda "celebrated" tonight with cheeseburgers and visiting my landlord's wife to give her flowers.
Having my own garden for the first time in ... well, EVER, is actually a really great Mother's Day gift and getting to bless someone else with the firstfruits was even better. It's something I've always wanted to do and I'm having lots of fun!
Of course, I have pics:
These flowers have been spent since I took this pic. Today I deadheaded them and dug them up. I am planting a shade garden where these were, so I moved these into a different tulip bed. They were the only ones in this spot, so it was better to move them. Plus, I got a nice little harvest of new bulbs. I planted about 15 from this one little patch!
This is from the tulip bed in front of my porch. If you look close you can see the raindrops on the petals. Prettiful! It was a little sparse at this time, but I just planted those 15 or so new bulbs here today!
Hopefully, the weather tomorrow will be nice enough to garden some more after work!
If not, I'll probably just sleep, which will also make for a nice Mother's Day gift.
From one extreme to the other, and no grey area ... yip. That'll get her done!
